Partnership Forum Facilitation
Do you work in a organisation or sector, where partnerships are an essential part of delivery and impact?

Whether you are aiming to mobilise a project together or recognise the impact your cohesion can make on the future of the sector.

I work with organisations looking to create space for collaborative, dynamic and reflection partnership cultures.

That benefit your team, organisation and the communities you serve.
From community health projects, to conservation. From purpose led businesses looking to enhance collaboration, or charities seeking strong relationships for financial security.
How is started
When I worked in the CVSE/VCSE sector, I was a leader often faced with managing multi-agency and complex partnership projects. We'd meet in an office, tick off formalities, perhaps have a few intense debates now and then and then part ways back to our own organisation.

Often lacking time for reflective practice, peer learning, strategic visioning and simple human-to-human contact.

It felt so disconnected, when the work we were doing was SO important to our communities. And I wondered what sort of role modelling we were doing for our teams, fleeting conversations, over-busy workloads with no time to make way for the creative and innovation ways we have that inspired us to be in the roles originally.

I started consciously making time for calls, connection and deepening relationships. I began challenging the status quo of meeting dynamics, encouraging space for reflection, shared practice and the moment of pause to celebrate our achievements and then zoom forward to explore collective resilience.

It resulted in new partnerships & business opportunities, cohesive working in really demanding and naturally competitive situations and led to greater resilience for leadership.

But to hold that, alongside my everyday role took a whole lot of energy.

When I began my coaching business, I knew I could take these combined skills and often a neutral protected space for leaders and partnerships to 'come together' and explore opportunities.

That is what Forum Facilitation is ALL about. Nurturing the roots of partnership working, so it flows with ease and secures grounded principles to work collaboratively for your cellective causes.

Sessions are deliver at our beautiful venue in North Yorkshire, or a wild venue near to your partnership.
Reaping the benefits of a Nature-Connected and Inspired approach to resilience, well-being and collaboration

Typically how it works...
-
After establishing an initial relationship together through a consultation.
-
We'll define the aims, intention and membership for your forum.
-
With your partnership members permission, I'll help coordinate your forum meetings and send out invitations and the scope for each day.
-
Forums so far have run each quarter based on year long facilitated support
-
Our initial session, supports the co-creation and focus of the meetings together.
-
From there we'll meet together, I'll facilitate the forum weaving in coaching approaches.
-
You'll leave each forum with individual actions and opportunities as well as collective opportunities to support strategy, impact and culture for your organisation and the sector.
-
Forums typically last for three hours to allow for explorative and meaningful discussions and collaboration to take place.
Why work together?
With so much to do in your day to day. The idea of taking time out might seem like just another thing to task you.
Especially spending time with people who might, at stages of business, be your competition! (eeek)
But what facilitated forums have shown is that it helps to create more purposeful, impactful work. Giving time, to gain time and impact elsewhere.

-
Streamlines efforts and focus, gaining over-sight from a shared perspective.
-
Gives you the opportunity to slow down, learn and reflect with peers, through shared learning experiences.
-
Builds trust between organisations and opens opportunities to explore working together in new ways.
-
Minimises duplications, and can enable you to broaden and deepen project work.
-
Helps reduce burnout, helping leaders to benefit from Nature Connection, supporting emotional and physical well-being.
-
Helps organisations better understand challenges and opportunities of the sector.
-
Opens up creative, innovative and solution-focused ways of working to enhance future delivery.
-
Has the possibility to save time and energy through collective reflection and insight.
-
Nurtures Human-To-Human connection
-
An opportunity to celebrate and share the joys of working in sectors of impact and purpose for people/planet health
-
A facilitated space in which to explore complex or challenging situations, topics and changes. Supporting resilience.

2025 case study coming soon!
This year I have supported a group of conservation organisations to cultivate a reflective and strategic forum. Focused on supporting remote working isolation and well-being, enabling organisations to reflect and seek opportunities to enhance their individual and collective approaches to outreach. The forum meet for the final time in the year this November and have found the space so valuable, that they are seeking to fund further facilitation in 2026.

Full reflective evaluation from the forums members to follow soon!
