Career coaching, in the wild or online, offers you a space to openly discuss your challenges in your role or career.

You might currently be struggling with an issue or circumstance at work and need help through coaching to find solutions – whether as a leader or wider team member or someone currently returning to/out of work.

Many of the people I already work came to coaching together because the wanted to  figure out their choices and whether it's time to leave their role or choose a particular career.

 

Or perhaps, with some help navigating challenges or identifying ways to develop personally, their current job could become a happier, easier place long term.

 

In the context of career coaching, I offer a range of sessions and packages to help you (or your employee) navigate those situations, challenges and opportunities. 

 

I've included some example of the common scenarios people access  career coaching with me for. Personal you'll recognise your own situation below. 

Get Help, or Get Out

You've been faced with an issue or opportunity at work for a while, but you're struggling with the decisions and actions around it.

 

Perhaps it feels challenging – conflict, poor culture, a difficult colleague relationship, or you've just lost your motivation.

Or maybe there are opportunities ahead: promotion or a sidestep, and you're wondering and worrying whether taking this step is right for you, or if it's going to lead to more pressure.

​

You might have been considering your other options for some time, but that feels like a big leap and you can't seem to settle on whether to just ride the situation out and hope things get better. Or if it's time for a change.

​

This tooing and froing is probably impacting your life outside work too. Taking up headspace and energy. The work itself leaving you depleted and less able to show up for the people and things that matter. You might be realising the way you're feeling about work isn't stopping at the end of the day, and some of those frustrations and big feelings lead you away from being the person you truly are with the people you care about – including yourself.

How coaching together can help you:

Coaching creates that space to have open, honest and pragmatic conversations about your situation. We'll explore your options and help you make a decisive plan. This might include techniques or psychoeducation to handle the in-work issue, or goals and actions you can create to achieve better work/life balance. Through coaching, you might get clear that it's time to leave your role, and the sessions together can help you make a plan of action and support any practical employability skills you need to hone – CV, job search or interview techniques. As well as dealing with any guilt, over-whelm, grief, fear or motivation challenges around that. 

 

Our coaching together focuses on you as a person, and I'll help you create a pathway that aligns most closely with a vision of a happy, healthy and purposeful life. 

If there is anything we need to help you learn and develop from past or current work experience. Coaching offers the space to deal with that, including handling tricky situations, resilience or noticing patterns in behaviour or choices that you'd value changing.

Our work together will help you create actions and feel confident taking steps towards your next step. Making these decisions can feel much more easier.

What the Hell Am I Doing?

You currently feel like a total imposter. You're happy in your role or business and can see the potential it offers most of the time, but this feeling of not knowing what you're doing or doubting your ability is constantly filling your head and stressing you out.

Perhaps you are in a leadership role, or finding leading responsibilities tricky or lead yourself to over-thinking what you 'should' and need to do. 

​

You're keen to be at your best and progress in your role or continue to grow in your current position, but you constantly feel like you're not doing enough, or feel too busy, and compare yourself to other people in your team, or family and friends.

​

People close to you might have spotted this impact. Or perhaps you've been doing a great job at hiding it all, and those who know you wouldn't believe what you really feel inside. 

​

It's exhausting and it's sapping the joy from life and work. You might have found yourself bowing out of hobbies you love because you want to avoid discussions about work, bringing  anxiety from your day into your you-time, or because you're just too exhausted to keep up with socialising.

 

You know this can't keep going, and you also believe that inside you, without this issue, your role could be fulfilling. And you want to find a solution, so you can do what you need to do, without all the turmoil inside.

 

You need help to make sense of it all. Stop the spiral of procrastinating and then over-preparing. The ruminating of 'what if', and the inner scrutiny of how things could have been better, that probably has contributed to a fair few restless nights, or 3am wake ups!  You're finding yourself more and more in need of reassurance, and feeling less and less like the bubbly, creative, adventurous person you know you truly are.

How coaching together can help:

 Through working together, I'll help you learn some fast-track emotional regulation techniques that can help to shift the big emotions you experience in those moments or that over-thinking imposter tries to hijack you. You'll learn strategies to help change your beliefs and perceptions about yourself and align your actions to your values. It's probable that you'll value work around boundaries and communication that can be explored in coaching, and we'll take time to help you understand how certain people, responses or tasks can trigger your inner 'imposter' and how to respond differently in a way that feels calmer and, as one client said, 'more normal'. I'll help you identify real-life situations where you can experience the alternative techniques we've explored together, so you build your confidence to trust a new way of doing and being. This will help you free up energy, feel more successful in life and work, and help you reconnect with those parts of yourself you've been leaving behind.

Nature really helps with this issue, as it offers an open space for creative calm thinking and helps with plenty of nervous system reset that means exploring the issues can feel lighter. Nature can also teach you to Value your Uniqueness, and I'll share with you the ways to learn leadership skills from Nature too. 

Career Change & Big Shifts

You've had enough of feeling unfulfilled or overwhelmed with work. The culture doesn't fit your values, your talents are wasted, or you feel constantly overstretched, worried at any moment you'll burn out. You might have had some time away from work due to the impact of the environment on your mental health. You're clear that things need to change, and this includes your job.

On paper this current role might have looked idea. Perhaps things started well, but it's been down hill for a while.  Or perhaps deep down you know you've been taking roles that have never really offered the meaning, development or interest that you'd love to be exploring. 

​

This choice keeps getting to a point in your head where you want to act, but you're struggling to make that change because you're unsure what or where to go next. You might be lacking in confidence due to your current situation or the time you've been out of looking for a role. Or you might be struggling to know where your interests and talents can be put to good use.

You know you'll be a happier, better person in your personal life if you can find a job that feels more purposeful and balanced. But where to start and how to get there?

How coaching together can help:

I'll help you create a plan, so you're clear on your pathway and how to make a change. You'll have the opportunity to learn more deeply about yourself, what matters to you, and how to align that with the strengths you can bring to a future role. You'll consider areas to develop that currently you feel you need, and we'll look at what you need in life to find, apply for and begin a role that will work for you and your lifestyle needs. Coaching also holds a space to help you manage the tricker emotions or challenging beliefs that show up for you, either as part of your leap or along the venture to a change in role. Or helping you towards an entrepreneurial future.

The Big Shifts Option:

For some people I speak with, and end up coaching. We recognise your career change plans require big shifts. And could even include a few lifestyle changes too. If that feels like your situation then REACH my premium offering for career coaching may be your ideal package. As one client who signed up in December 2025 said 'It felt like this package was written for me' and later claimed 'I'm so glad I signed up for this'. 

REACH is offered to a maximum of 3 clients each season, due to the in-depth and immersive way we work together on this package. It offers a 12 session package, helping you figure out your choices, take action and will even offer coaching support while you settle into your new role.  Between each session, I offer check ins, share resources, so you don't have to wait until the next session for support with challenges, celebrations and motivation in between. How we work together

Challenges in your career can be all consuming, or the type of niggle that you learn to live with until months and years have gone by and you still desire the change. Career coaching helps the shifts happen with focus and more ease, so you don't have to feel so alone making sense of things.   Booking a short discovery call together (On Zoom or by telephone) will help you and I ensure we are a great fit and this is the right time for you. 

 

That conversation will be a space to share what’s motivated you to get in touch. Shared in confidence together. 

I can answer questions you might have about our time coaching together. Cover the options for coaching  online, in person in the woods, or walk and talk sessions. As well as prices for packages and pay as you go. If it all feels like an opportunity you’d like to get started with, you’ll receive the coaching agreement, client registration and booking links to make payment and secure your session. We get started from there. Sessions are available online, at my private woodland or as walk and talks in Nature. 

Typically people focusing on career coaching will benefit from around 4-6 sessions, or for more in-depth support for bigger changes REACH offers a year long support/twelve sessions or Personal Compass Sessions can offer an immersive approach to some clear insight and actions - spending half a day together in the woods, with a session to follow up after that. 

Everyone is different, and our time together on the discovery call will help to understand how many sessions you may value, with no obligation to sign up to more than you'll need.
