Unlike our two annual Retreats [SOMEWHERE] and [WELL SEASONED] which I publicly market each year.

The call from the wild events match the beauty, wonder, restfulness and adventure of Where the Mind Grows other retreats. Weaving nature connection with personal growth and well-being opportunities for you to enhance and harmonise life.
​I made the decision to offer these additional events you see here, based on interest and intrigue from those who discover them. You see marketing an event outwardly actually often takes more time and energy than the event itself sometimes.
A different kind of energy at least, and if you've worked with me, or are learning more about what Where the Mind Grows offer. Energy is currency and I choose it wisely and help you do the same through out time together. So to balance energy around all my wider coaching commitments to team, 1:1 and retreat clients. I've created this range of events, based on a different energy.

Call it 'trusting the universe' or some quantum physics of particles at play. Call it open to receiving, or letting things happen. Nature's intention even.

When we listen to the wild within, our unique part of ourselves, things often fall into place. You find yourself seeing opportunities like this, that nudge or nurture something that matters inside of you.

How Call from the Wild events work
​On this page you'll find a range of retreat events that can 'Go Live' with ease at Little Seed Field (our venue for all Call from the Wild events in 2026 and the home of Where the Mind Grows coaching and retreats).

Here's how it works:

Each event needs just 6 people to run (we wait for 10 expressions of interest to ensure we reach this)

See something you love? Complete the expression of interest form for that event

When we hit 10+ Expression of Interest, the event 'goes live' contacting you via email with all the event info.

You'll get an 'Event Live' email inviting you to purchase your place – first come, first served from the EOI list.

Part of the adventure with this approach is there is only a two weeks to secure your place.

An Call from the Wild event can be bought to life, through individual expression of interests OR through a group of friends or colleagues activating this event for themselves.

Wild Workspaces 'Workaway'
Wild Workspaces 'Work-Away' combines the best of our co-working/networking events in the wild and woods of North Yorkshire, with a retreat for you and your business/leadership.
Over two days and two nights, you'll have time focus on the strategic elements of your business/leadership role co-working in the wild. As well as make time for your own well-being.
With space for reflection, re-focus, goals, actions and 'getting on top of things' as well as group coaching workshops and well-being activities. The event includes refreshments, meals and accommodation in one of the cosy glamping cabins onsite.

Men's Rewilding Retreat
A two night, three day men's retreat in Nature. For men looking to ground yourself in good intentions and more wholesome and connected living. Whether you seek clarity and direction in life or work right now, or are looking for a space to shift self critical feeling and beliefs.
You might be stressed, low or self-questioning your situation. And find yourself in a mid-life shift where your scrutinising what's been before, and what's next from here.
Whether you are tired of the hum of life, or simply finding spaces that nurture the fulfilment you already have.
This retreat offers a wild space to reflect, evaluate, restore and align yourself. Creating more space, calm, adventure, confidence and purpose.
Our men's retreats are for men who care deeply about their impact in the world. Right now you might be in a corporate world that creates tensions with your inner heart and gut.
Or perhaps have your hands and mind in a range of projects and ideas that sometimes leave you spread too thin. Perhaps you're keen to cultivate more love and connection with the people that matter, or find a new direction, so life can be more meaningful?
You'll not only experience nature connected activities like woodcraft and relaxation in Nature. Our group coaching workshops will help you learn from Nature too to align inside and out with our wonderful wild world.
So what ever aim or goal you bring, Nature will help you with that emergence. Weaving both coaching facilitation and wild adventures into this retreat space.

Couple's Group Life Coaching Retreat
You're both busy. Too busy, probably. Life's become this endless loop of work, admin, obligations – and somewhere along the way, you've lost the thread of what you're actually doing it all for. One or both of you might be feeling like you've disappeared a bit, like the person you used to be got buried under the pace and responsibilities of life.
Maybe you're questioning the pace of it all, or feeling uneasy about how you're living – the consumerism, the hustle, the disconnect from what actually matters. You want something more meaningful, more ethical, more you. And you want to figure it out together.
A two night, three day retreat for couples ready to press pause and learn from Nature, to design a thriving life together.
Through group activities and couples and solo reflection, we'll explore a range of Nature-Inspired resources to help you with life, career and well-being. In the wild you'll reconnect with your values, explore energy as a currency and learn nature reconnected ways to nurture a thriving family ecosystem.

Call from the Wild Opportunity Four - Taking EOI's
Grief, Loss & Bereavement Rest-bite Retreat
You've been processing an experience of grief and loss. This might be something that is quite present for you. Or perhaps is a loss from the past, that still impacts you regularly.
It may even be a anticipatory grief for something or someone that will no longer be with you.
​
This retreat is a rest-bite space for people impacted by the loss of a loved one. And is also a place for people grieving parts of their life or personal circumstances in which you're experiencing a sense of grief; for example grieving a life you feel you can't have, the loss of relationships, grief from redundancy or a health condition which you feel has shifted your perspective on life. This event will offer you time in and with Nature where through group workshops and solo reflections, you'll have space to learn from Nature and explore ways to support yourself through the unknowns of grief and loss.
For those that need it or feel ready, there will be resources to help you realign your changing situation.
As well as Nature connected activities focused on self-care and well-being in times of grief, loss and bereavement.
Delivered over 2.5 days and two evenings. Accommodation, meals and all activities included.

Remember, to be in with a chance to be part of this event, you'll need to join the wait list for that calling, by completing the form. ​Once we meet the calling capacity for the event, you'll receive a 'Going Live' email in which you'll be invited to secure one of the places at your registered event.
​You're place will be secured upon making payment, via the Go Live email links at the time. (Joining the waitlist does not secure your place alone)
​On an event 'going live' you'll also receive all the details of the final dates/times and itinerary. ​
