You are looking for some help with feeling more confident in yourself and boosting your sense of self esteem, so you can achieve specific goals or make practical changes in your life or work and just go day to day a little easier as yourself. .

Whether thats in how you communicate or how able you feel to begin, achieve or even choose your goals, ambitions or intentions.

The current lack or knock to your confidence might be having some impacts on your wider well-being or livelihood.

I typically work with peoplewho could place themselves within one of two ‘realms’ of confidence issues and aims.

I’ve broken these down to help you find this more easily for yourself, but its completely possible that all aspects might resonate with you in someway.

Lost Confidence

For many clients that I work with, they wouldn’t really describe themselves as an unconfident person. And perhaps at times in your life you felt really able to present or project yourself in a situation or social space.

But recently something has shifted, whether its in a specific situation like a task or activity at work. Or in socialising with others. Or perhaps it feels like ‘The confident you’ has been sucked from your own reality and everything feels a little less ‘the old you’ and more uncertain, creating anxiety, hesitantion or avoidance.

You might be clear on the conditions or circumstances that caused this.

Returning to work after maternity, a break up, loss, a tricky work situation or conflict or traumatic event or adversity that’s shaken things up.

Or you might be totally unsure and confused  how and why this change has happened. Racking your brain trying to figure it out or change it leaves you often exhausted, frustrated and tired. And often stuck overthinking it all without much insight that helps.

How Coaching Together Can Help:

You’ll get a chance to share your situation, we’ll look at how you are feeling about the whole circumstances  and what parts you want to change to feel more yourself again. Coaching is about looking forward and meeting you were you are in the present. So whilst sometimes the past situations are relevant, we don’t have to get stuck trying to get that version of you back. We’ll use it to help understand what can create your confidence in the here and now, as you are today. Help you deal with the emotional bits that show up, and how to regulate them (Nature is helpful for this, as it helps calm and restore the nervous system naturally for us). I’ll help you establish tangible goals and actions which give you the opportunity to grow confidence again. And we’ll tweak and reflect along the way to ensure you feel natural and easy in being yourself.

To help you future proof yourself for life’s natural changes and challenges, you’ll explore resources and strategies that can help you adapt to these situations in your life.

Creating Confidence

Whilst some people work with me, who have an element of confidence or feel they lost a version of confidence Many clients I work with couldn’t really tell you what confidence means for them, because they don’t feel like they’ve ever had it.

Maybe like them, you can give a number of examples of what you think confidence is, or you have people you find yourself comparing yourself with.

But its hard to think of a time you would describe yourself as confident. Especially around others.

But what does confidence actually mean for you, and how do you create it with ease, comfort in a way that feels like it fits in and supports you with the goals you don’t feel confident to reach.

You might have been labelled an introvert, or know for sure you aren’t extroverted in your ways. That doesn’t mean you can’t be giddy or loud around others, but that tends to be in moments you feel at your safest, with a few trusted close friends, a partner or families members. Or on your own, doing your own thing.

You might also admit that a lot of the time you are masking yourself in front of even your closest of connections and its feeling like something you want or need to change.

Feeling you are not ‘a confident person’ can take its toll on you, and you might be internally self critical, prefer or need time on your own to reset after being in social situations where you feel you have to perform a little or alot. I’ve had clients ask ‘whats wrong with me JK’ because a sense of confidence feels so unreal to them, let me reassure you, feeling yourself, knowing that’s good enough and finding a sense of peace and trust in being that version of you, is within reach.

This lack of confidence as you’d like it  might be practically holding you back now too. Stopping you achieving promotions at work, or progress in your career because you don’t feel you can put yourself across well. Cause difficulty forming new relationships because you feel shy, and often isolate or lack certainty to put yourself in new places. Or it could be making connecting with colleagues more tricky at work because they see you more as a person to jest with, mock you for being different or just don’t get you at all.

You’d love to know and feel what its like to be confident. And what life could look like for you if you were.

How Coaching Together Can Help:

In working together we acknowledge your experience of feeling different to others, or not the normal person in terms of confidence.  We’ll explore what your own unique  version of confidence needs and can look and feel like, and I’ll share ways to give up comparing yourself with others, and feeling like a failure when your faking it, hasn’t led to making it.

I’ll help you to manage some of the strong feelings or inner self talk that have formed over your years (whether in your early twenties or spawned over decades) and we’ll set some real life situations or actions where the stuff we explore and shifts you help yourself make can be tried and tested so we are both confident that this is the way to be yourself with ease.

I’m not going to try to coach you to be a extroverted alpha if that’s not right for you. As I say to clients true confidence is actually just a neutral state, often devoid of any epic feelings (though yes the high of shifting to your own confidence will feel good). We need to discover together what confidence means to you, how you feel it in your body and what you need to believe for it to be true to you. With this things like anxiety and the stress of performing, or that low dip when you feel misunderstood will subside, because being yourself will come even more naturally and openly.

I also want to reassure you, confidence can come at any age, when explored through coaching.

I’ve worked with people in their early 20’s right up to those about to enter retirement.

Coaching sessions are there to help you discover your version of confidence, in a way that feels natural.

How we work together

To really optimise your return  or discover to confidence, booking a short discovery call together (On Zoom or by telephone) will help you and I ensure we are a great fit.

That conversation will be a space to share what’s motivated you to get in touch. Shared in confidence together.

Cover the options for coaching  online, in person in the woods, or walk and talk sessions. As well as prices for packages and pay as you go. If it all feels like an opportunity you’d like to get started with, you’ll receive the coaching agreement, client registration and booking links to make payment and secure your session. We get started from there.

Everyone is different, but typically people working on confidence with me, will value between 2-6 sessions.
