Workplace Well-Being & Personal Development
Coaching for employee's

Employee Coaching for Organisations in Yorkshire & Beyond

Why Your Team Member's Can Benefit from Coaching:

Working in VCSE, conservation, and purpose-led organisations is deeply rewarding but uniquely challenging.

Most leader's I speak with care deeply about the well-being and growth of your team members. But sometimes, the solutions to growth and resilience can't just lie with you.  Staff need space and time, to discover their own resources and approaches. Growing self awareness , emotional intelligence and the confidence and cohesion, to work in an impact role.

Your staff are often driven by 'mission' over money. Sometimes this can lead to compassion fatigue, burnout, and difficulty setting boundaries. Even the most connected of teams, will have phases of disconnections, or struggle with communication, that impacts well-being and performance.

And that's before we even mention the 'life stuff' that staff members might be facing, behind the scenes.

Our workplaces are diverse 'ecosystems', and this requires unique and tailored approaches to team development and well-being.

The most resilient of teams have a culture of learning, psychological safety and the freedom to be creative, bringing their own unique way to delivery, whilst aligning to organisational values and vision.

So many staff I coach struggle with imposter syndrome, self-doubt and fear of failure. Often based on past experiences and inner narratives.  Especially when transitioning into new roles and responsibilities. Or the pressure they put on themselves to achieve.

Employees can feel overwhelmed by limited resources and the weight of making a difference. Combined with the personal challenges and pressures they might be facing at home.

Common challenges your employees face:

  • Burnout from caring too much and working beyond capacity

  • Difficulty saying no or delegating in under-resourced environments

  • Stress from balancing passion projects with financial realities and constraints.

  • Loss of confidence when actions fail or projects face setbacks

  • Work-life balance struggles, particularly in rural Yorkshire communities, with long travel or remote working.

  • Navigating organisational change,  leadership transitions or sector shifts, with pressures from commissioners to deliver in ever changing circumstances.

  • Vicarious Trauma from difficult and confronting situations at work.

  • Managing relationships with stakeholders, volunteers or team members.

  • Confidence to return to work, after a period of ill health or work-related stress. â€‹â€‹

As an employer you appreciate the duty of care you have for your team members.

You also see the value of offering a nurturing culture in which employees can grow, develop and excel. After all this hugely benefits your organisations work and impact.

One to One coaching sessions, can help employees resolve issues, nurture practical resilience strategies and enhance well-being and confidence.

Coaching Options - The Where the Mind Grows Way

Online Sessions

Online Coaching provides flexible support for your team anywhere in the UK.  Employees can access professional coaching without travel time, making it practical for staff juggling multiple sites or community commitments. Allowing for a confidential session to take place, in or out of work time. subject to availability) Ideal for ongoing support, skill-building, and confidential conversations about career development or workplace challenges. Meeting online for 60-90 minutes via zoom link.  Staff typically will benefit from sessions every 2-4 weeks,  with staff  usually valuing 4-8 sessions on average, with packages and Pay As You Go options available.

In Nature

In-Nature Coaching enhances your coaching experience. With sessions run at my private woodland between March and November each year. Or as walk and talk sessions across  Yorkshire's stunning landscapes—from the Dales to the Moors—creating an energised and focused session experience.  Sessions in nature reduce stress, spark fresh perspectives, and reconnect professionals with the landscapes they're working to protect and communities they care deeply for. Walking sessions are particularly valuable for neurodivergent staff members who can benefit from side by side interactions, and the natural regulation that time in Nature facilitates.  Nature sessions powerful for minimising burnout, rebuilding confidence, and developing resilience in employees who carry heavy responsibilities or are struggling with their mental health.

Both approaches help your staff develop the confidence, clarity, and resilience they need to sustain their vital work while maintaining their own wellbeing. Offering time and focus to better understand themselves, their situation and discover practical solutions and strategies.

Sessions last 90 minutes.

Team days can be funded by employers or through Access to Work funding where an employee is eligible and has applied for this funding via the DWP.  For self funded sessions, please visit our Life & Career coaching page here

Getting started

It's very simple to get started, supporting staff members through coaching session.

It's really helpful to speak with you at the staff members line manager, leader, HR or referring staff member initially.  Before I chat with the team member themselves. However if you are a staff member who has been allocated funding by your employer, feel free to go ahead  and book a discovery call straight in.
