Time for you

Looking to take some time out, away from your busy day-to-day? Clear the head-clutter and make space for peace of mind.

Our group retreats are ideal for a group of friends, colleagues, or a network/collective who are looking for some 'down time' together.

Do you love the idea of nature connected retreats? Do you see the value of activities that support self-reflection, growth, and nurture well-being?

Join us for a calm and focused private retreat experience at Heather Lea, Eco Cottage in Summerbridge. (For up to 8 guests).  Inviting you to discover new ways to enhance mind and body wellness.

Our retreats are compassionately crafted to help you relax, gain clarity, and feel at ease.

A  place to reconnect with yourself, explore ways to enhance your well-being, and gain new perspectives.

Creating positive & lasting change.

Facilitated by JK (Jennie-Kate), Life Coach and Change-Worker. Our retreats are rooted in a strong connection with nature. A focus on eco-psychology, eco-therapy, and nature connectedness, helping you reduce stress, enhance esteem, and re-connect with self-compassion. With two tailored workshops to help you reflect, personally develop, and re-balance.

Who are our retreats for?

Our retreats offer a well-being experience for groups of hard-working friends, colleagues, leaders, or those bonded through business networks.

Living busy lives,  high aspirations, and a need for time out.

Your courageous character and drive in life mean little time for self-care and pause, and you know some time out for well-being makes sense.

If you've heard yourself spouting promises of "me time" - here is a great opportunity just for that!

Our retreat self-discovery workshops help the group come together, connect, and explore strategies for balance, calm, confidence, and health.

Whether you are a group committed to 'well-being' or bonded on your 'hard work, too busy lives, and if only we had more time woes' our group retreat experience meets you where you are, and explores some nature-inspired and connected activities to help you ground, focus, and relax.

Our programme will leave enough time for relaxation, connection, and fun with your group. Whilst offering an experience to enhance and nurture well-being and confidence.

Finding clarity in the wilderness of life.

Nature - Nurture

Our well-being retreats are run in collaboration with Make It Wild at the beautiful Heather Lea eco-friendly holiday cottage and surrounding ancient woodland, in North Yorkshire.

The two-day programme is 'ready made' to welcome you and your group. Whilst valuing the uniqueness of your collective.

The luxury eco-cottage offers accommodation sleeps up to 8 adults across four bedrooms (twin and doubles)

Inside - Outside

At the heart of what we do at Where The Mind Grows is our strong affinity with the natural world. With nature as a co-facilitator for your retreat programme, 1:1 and group sessions will help you get back to yourself in nature.

You will be invited to learn from the wisdom and expertise of the natural world, a master in resilience. Helping you to create sustainable strategies for self-care & well-being.

Understanding how conscious living and nature connection can help calm your mind and brighten your spirit.

The retreat experience will get you rooted, branch out and create conditions to thrive* (Yep, we love a great nature cliché!)

Our wellness retreats include:

  • Luxury Eco-Cottage accommodation for up to 8 people.

  • Natural Mindfulness Session in the ancient Bank Woods, with Helen of Make it Wild.

  • Two personal discovery workshops for the group, delivered by JK Founder of Where the Mind Grows.

    • Introduction to Natural Principles for well-being.

    • Values as a compass, rebalance & re-align.

  • Self-Guided resources tailored to your group.

  • Free Parking & electric charging point.

  • Welcome hamper.

We find our retreat groups value the time and connection preparing food together offers as part of your retreat experience.

For that reason, we do not cater these events.

If you would like to have catering for the retreat, we can recommend some local suppliers.

We'll also leave you some suggestions for walks and excursions in the local area if you're not rushing off on your final day.

Come on your own, with your team or take some time out with your fellow entrepreneurs, networks or friendship group.
