The Yorkshire Arboretum, Castle Howard, York YO60 7BY, UK
About the event
A bit over-done with words like well-being, culture, change (insert other buzz words here)?
Be assured – this workshop/seminar session has all the intention of supporting you to create some powerful stuff. In a down-to-earth (quite literally) way.
We are all about creative solutions, nature connection and coaching. Taking account of the unique and complex horizons of your team’s health and happiness.
Are you a leader who gets excited by the untamed potential of energised and engaged staff?
Is there something in you that thinks “yes please” to bold, brave and wild people power?
To prioritise mind and body, with true understanding of the magic this creates.
To be innovative, courageous and collaborative.
Imagine being part of that!
Maybe you saw this workshop and were curious to explore some more ‘strategic’ ideas and approaches to enhance mood, motivation, staff stress and minimise burn-out.
Perhaps your motivation comes from a specific staff issue, right now. That is really challenging your capacity to “Zen”.
And let’s be honest, as a leader – juggling work, life and who knows what – you’re probably secretly hoping there is something in it for you too.
( Maybe your own "wild" has got deflated or lost along the path of life or leadership? We've been there, we see you, we feel you, theres room for that here too)
What we do is really in our name: helping you discover Where the Mind Grows, for you, your team and the wider ripple effects that happen when you say “I’m in!”
The wholesome, evocative kind of figuring-stuff-out.
You - A Leader, Pioneer, Courageous-Wildebeest -of - Change (too far???)
Gain ideas, resources, experiences that make ‘well-being’ ALIVE and not just a concept you itemise on the agenda or send a few emails out now and again.
Our aim is that you leave with excitement, hope and inspiration.
Here begins the “rooting”
Your business is an ecosystem. Yes, an ecosystem!
Ecosystems need nutrients, confidence to weather the storms, and the ability to communicate on many levels (inner and outer).
Many workplace well-being offers are transactional, linear, forced-upon. Switching people off, instead of igniting engagement.
Our approach is regenerative. Helping you see the bigger picture and the detail. Supporting you to bend with the wind and feed your roots!
Nature is a co-facilitator in all that we do. I mean, she’s pretty expert in the ol’ resilience stuff and not so bad at teamwork either.
Our coaching approach means your teams uniqueness is celebrated and revived into something of the unknown.....
Come, learn some stuff, create some space, see some trees… then who knows what… The start of something wildly wonderful perhaps?
Where The Mind Grows coach individuals and teams to reduce stress and anxiety, build resilience and embrace individual well-being.
We do this alongside untamed creativity and curious courage. With nature as an active collaborator in all that we do.
Before getting ''back into the wild', JK ( founder and lead coach) was a leader in mental health and employability services for third and private health care. As well as a stint in Public Health and CSE outreach.
She's combined various coaching modalities (NLP/IEMT/MBIT/TA) with Ecopsychology, regenerative leadership and raves on a lot about nature, creativity and self-expression.
Having worked in and alongside "burn-out" culture - JK recognised how tamed and caged amazing, creative and inspiring people become, when faced with the pressures of work and life.
Our coaching offers a solution to over-whelm. Helping you nurture psychological safety. Coaching you or your teams to be better equipped for the unexpected and value mind and body as an essential resource, in and out of work.
Where The Mind Grows use a portion of their profits to plant trees and support local conservation projects to help re-wild our world.
Refreshments will be provided as part of the event.
