With Where the Mind Grows
Rooted Self - Where the Mind Grieves
You are dealing with a personal loss, or confronted by having to or needing to let go of something or someone, which feels like grief.
A career that never went in the direction you wish. Life plans that did not go to plan, hopes and dreams that haven't happened or weren't as you you wished, relationshop or friendship shifts or a health diagnosis that changes everything.

Through Life, Career and well-being coaching online or in Nature together. You'll have space to work practically and emotionally.

Coaching is not therapy, but it is therapeutic. Offering a space to ground yourself, when life around you is changed or changing.

A space to help you understand the grief, what your needs, values and disconnects are and how to cultivate life from here. Learn from Natures cycles and seasons to help with restorative self care and the opportunity to curate and nurture plans for life alongside this change or adversity.

Sessions are 90 minutes and can be purchased one by one or as a package of 3, or 6 for those who would like to benefit from the transition time alongside a coach. In Nature, here in Yorkshire or Online, with guided Nature practices to help you in between sessions.

Nurtured Workplaces - Where the Mind Grieves
Are your team grieving?
Is there space for conversations about loss, bereavement and death in the workplace.?
This has been missing, but it is what is needed now.
Work life is becoming more complex. This isn't just about employees losing a loved one or experiencing loss and how to navigate that.
This regenerative work is for organisations and leaders that recognise the symptoms of a grieving team or are stuck with how to help create difference.
Fatigued by change, losing trust, struggling to stay well, motivated or collaborative together.? You might be seeing fractures in the team like tension and anger. Maybe you see withdrawal and quiet quitting. Or your culture is running on empty as people over-work, over empathise and have lost safe boundaries that hinder working well and resiliently.

This requires deeper work. Not a tick box well-being, not 'done to' training. A chance for team members to have a voice, create reflective spaces, slow down and explore the benefits of trauma informed psychologically safe cultures. That may have been compromised by adversity, change, stress or fear.
Trauma Informed regenerative coaching and consultancy. Guiding together, not to 'fix' but to help your team restore what is lost and grow what needs nurturing.
Learn to trust, value energy, gain wisdom in communication, grieve what feels lost and move forward together feeling more aligned, happy and cohesive.
Working together over 3-12 months to cultivate a wholesome and healthier culture for your team, org or leadership.

Gathering Community - Where the Mind Grieves
Seasons of Loss: Nature as a guide for grief
A 2-3 hour workshop for groups, festivals, workplaces and events.
Drawing on personal and professional experience alongside the wisdom of the natural world to explore how Nature can support people through grief, loss and bereavement. The workshop weaves together seasonal and cyclical patterns, embodied nature re-connection and Nature’s meaning-making approaches to explore how the natural world can hold us through grief.
Participants will reflect on how landscapes, ecosystems and natural cycles can support emotional processing, nervous system regulation and perspectives of resilience and renewal. Considering the non-linear nature of grief, the session offers insights to how Nature can support others, whilst also creating a compassionate space to reflect on personal experiences of loss, including climate grief. Participants will leave with practical nature-led insights and simple approaches for both professional practice and personal reflection.

I have been working in and alongside Nature for nearly a decade now. I have seen the transformative way this natural environment can calm the nervous system and support our mind to become more clear, focused and creative (with growing neuroscience and research to support this) and how a grieving, anxious, worried or disconnected mind and body can soften, reconnect and open up in these wild and natural spaces.

Grief doesn't move in straight lines, and neither does Nature, which is part of why working with grief outdoors can reach places that a chair and four walls sometimes can't.
Weaving in biomimicry (designing with Nature), Regenerative Principles and ecopsychology to help people understand their intrinsic connection with the Natural world. With 3.8 billion years experience of cycles, seasons and resilience to change. Learning from its own seasons, cycles, rhythm and approach to life and death . At Where the Mind Grows, Nature is our co-facilitator alongside you to help you move and transition with grief, loss and bereavement. To hope, joy and reconnection.

Recognising that grief is not just a process we go through, when people die. But also when we struggle with letting go, moving through change or feeling disconnected from the direction life or work is taking us.

Why Nature?

Grieving Earth
Recognising the poly-crises we face. More and more clients (individual and teams) are seeking a space to work through the outrage and optimism that cycles within, around climate change and social injustices that surround us in the modern day world.

As a trauma informed coach with vast experience in regenerative leadership approaches I regularly work with climate anxiety, help people with hopelessness, compassion fatigue and the overwhelm and worry that often comes with purposeful work.

Providing tailored coaching packages for people and teams, working in or caring about the planet. When your work feels like its never enough, or you are struggling with maintaining hope and energy to do your important and meaningful work.
