There are a number of reasons you might seek career coaching from changing career's, to handling redundancy or work-based adversity that calls on you to discover a new role or career direction completely.

 

Here at Where the Mind Grows career coaching is also a space for help in the workplace too. From professional development, to handling conflict or challenging dynamics. Sessions are delivered from private woodland near Ripon North Yorkshire, in local Nature spaces in Yorkshire or online via Zoom.

Helping you gain clarity, confidence and grow as an individual. Understanding yourself and others more clearly in the context of the workplace. 

Who is it for?

When I begin working alongside you in career coaching sessions, our first thing to consider is if you are in camp 'Get Out or Get Help' 

​

Get Out - usually means you are ready to explore a new career prospect. You might already be really clear with that and just need help with your career pathway or next steps. Or this decision might be throwing up ALL SORTS of confusion with all the options, the pressure to get things right, the competition in the market and the time and money to get you there. 

Career Coaching packages (Typically of 6-12 sessions) will help you to take those next steps, learn from what has gone before in your experience of work. Identify opportunities and option and help you make a plan of action towards your new career or role goal.

Get Help - The get help route, helps you with coaching sessions to deal with your current situation(s) at work. Or to help you understand whether if things changed, you'd be happy with your current role. (Sometimes this leads us to the Get Out route).

 Coaching can help you with a whole range of in work and personal development challenges and goals. Supporting you to voice and understand the situation. Consider options, and develop new skills to explore ways to change the situation for the better. See below some more examples of the 'get help' route over the years.

Whether it is one of these routes or you need to explore both. The main thing is you feel ready for a coaching approach. Away from the advice and opinions of others. Helping you listen deeply and identifying your strengths and the gaps where you need more support, knowledge or opportunity to find your contented self in your career.

Sessions begin at £175 for a 90 minute session (packages available) People typically value  4-6 sessions to work through some of the areas highlighted above. 

​

REACH is the premium career change package, which includes increased wrap around coaching input, tailored resources and 12 sessions to use within a year. (£2,700 payment plan available)

A little more of what to expect

Sessions last 90 minutes, whether online or in person at the private woodland leased near Ripon or as a Walk and Talk session in one of the selected session locations across West and North Yorkshire. 

​

Choose from a range of packages or Pay as You Go: 1, 3, 6 or 12 sessions. 

These are usually spread every 2-4 weeks depending on your needs, availability and the pace of change you are looking to achieve. 

​

Before getting started together, there is a chance to review our coaching agreement and complete a registration form. So that our first session can focus on activating change and exploring your goals. 

​

You receive a booking link which secures your session and takes payment of the session. (See full terms at the coaching agreement or discuss at a discovery call)

​

You have access to a FREE DISCOVERY CALL to make sure my coaching style fits your needs, and you are ready to commit to the coaching approach. 

​

My coaching approach ensures I listen deeply and adapt to your needs, goals and a mixed approach of coaching reflection and activities to help you explore and progress, based on your aims and intentions.  Meaning each client will experience something different. 

​

In the woods we have time for sitting or wandering. 

A walk and talk session will see us meander through the landscape with occasions to pause. 

​

And online sessions might include the invitation for a pause in Nature, where you have access and it fits the aims of our session. 

​​

For career coaching, we'll ensure you have clear and rewarding actions to complete between each session, so you can reflect on these throughout the course of the sessions. Supporting you with progression and meeting goals. 

We establish these in a collaborative and energising way. So each goal is something you feel motivated to have ownership of. Even when it might be taking you a little outside your comfort zone. (Coaching will support you with that).
