Working through the crucial stuff

Your team are busy with the everyday commitments of their roles, the pace of change and the need for constant resourcefulness. Feels like there is never enough time to ground, connect, reflect and understand what is working, what needs to change and how to make that an empowered and impactful thing for everyone.
Whether it is small tweaks or big shifts your team or organisation need.
Team Days offer that purposeful pause in which to come together, make sense, explore and leave with insight and actions that can help now hinder your teams culture.
Whilst each day, following our consultation together, is tailored to your unique situation and organisation
Here are some examples of team day themes from the past. Every team day is uniquely designed to your organisation, team and leadership needs. Understood together through consultation and proposal. Not sure where your issue or aim fits. Let's explore together on a free consultation and explore how time in the woods could support your team.
Team Well-being
Understanding strategies and approaches to maintain well-being in a busy or impact led organisation or team.
Exploring individual and team culture, context and commitments.

Managing Change
Change, it's constant and can lead teams to feel fearful, disempowered and untrusting.
These days explore the impact of change on teams and help you find ways to be adaptable without it impacting well-being.
Nature's Consultancy
A playful and creative team away day to consider what we can learn from Nature when it comes to some of your workplace challenges and unknowns.
What could your team learn from 3.8 billion years of evolution and mastery. Who would they choose as their wild consultant and what will you do with the wisdom you gain from a day learning from the wild.
Resilience
Busting the myth of modern day resilience and focusing time and energy back on core needs, adaptability, boundaries and flow in work. Understanding the thresholds of resilience and how to maintain a healthy culture that isn't risking burnout.
Values & Vision
Not your typical values and vision day. This is about team collaboration, understanding each other and cultivating alignment in workload and approach. Your team will leave with a set of resources to help you all work better together.
Beyond Adversity
Terrible and hard things can happen at work. Redundancy, serious mistakes. The loss of a team member due to health or suicide. The complexity of a group of humans faced with life and work turbulence.
So what do you do when those things happen?
A day in the woods to help you navigate the emotions, the impact and decide together how to move beyond, through or with challenging times.

Meet your facilitator
Hello! I’m Jennie-Kate but everyone calls me JK. I’ve worked as a leader in the sector before I founded Where The Mind Grows, so I understand first-hand the unique challenges your sector faces that are quite unlike others.

I’ve seen your charitable, purpose-led sector lose fantastic people due to their own mental health and struggles. Whilst the sector is very fulfilling, and work purposeful. Sometimes overwhelm and workload pressures can get in the way of health.
And the psychological impact of the direct work, result in vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout.

These aspects of work, can be prevented with a focus on true team well-being and happiness. One that is proactive and not reactive! Designed for the individual as well as the collective!

My work with teams and organisations is focused on staff well-being, psychologically safe cultures and regenerative organisational redesign.
